How would you describe your role at SoftWriters?

I joined the SoftWriters family in October 2019 as a Senior Software Engineer on the FrameworkECM product. I add new features, fix bugs, performance tune, and provide support services for FrameworkECM. I bring my 24 years of experience in enterprise hardware and software to help enhance FrameworkECM to best meet the needs of our wide variety of customers.

What is your favorite part of the job?

I love coming to work each morning knowing that I will be somehow helping medical professionals treat their patients. Coming from a family of medical professionals, this is very close to my heart.

What is your favorite functionality of any of our products?

My favorite part of FrameworkECM is its amount of integration with other systems. This helps pharmacies to run smoothly while maintaining an electronic paper trail. We have deep integration into FrameworkLTC, FrameworkERx/SureScripts, and a variety of fax providers to enable pharmacies to provide outstanding, streamlined car

What is a something many don't know about you?

I was originally a Music Education and Spanish major (clarinet and oboe). I hold a B.A. in Psychology, having started in the tech industry at age 16.

I recently participated in the SoftWriters-sponsored Pitt Challenge, a virtual hackathon that encourages college students to design next-generation technology solutions in healthcare. The event is presented by the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy and the Clinical and Translational Science Institute. (Jason was also instrumental in our summer intern program, mentoring one of our internees!)
