Tim joined SoftWriters in 1994, responsible for leading the programming team. It was Tim who designed FrameworkLTC® and originally developed the software. In 2009, Tim took over as CEO and President of SoftWriters.
Tim is widely known for his expertise in this industry. He has been a member of the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs since 2000. He has also been a member of the American Society for Automation in Pharmacy since 2000 and has served ASAP as a board member and as president of the organization from 2010 - 2012. Tim holds a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Gannon University.
Tim Tannert, R.Ph.
Vice President & COO
Tim joined SoftWriters, Inc. in 2011 and as Chief Operating Officer has responsibility for the Product Management, Developement, Support, Training, Quality Assurance and Implementation departments.
Prior to SoftWriters, Tim had over ten years of executive management experience in long term care pharmacies. Most recently, he was the Chief Operating Officer of Absolute Pharmacy, Inc., an LTC pharmacy providing services throughout Ohio. Previous to that, Tim served as Vice President of Operations / Executive Director of the Omnicare Pharmacy in Columbus, Ohio. Tim is currently the Vice President on the Board of Directors for the American Society of Automation in Pharmacy and is past president of the Senior Care Pharmacy Alliance. Tim is a graduate of the R.H. Raabe College of Pharmacy at Ohio Northern University.
Vice President, Sales & Marketing
Heather joined SoftWriters, Inc. as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing in January of 2013. Her industry relevant experience exceeds 20 years of combined sales, product marketing, and sales leadership roles. Prior to joining SoftWriters, Heather held several sales and sales leadership roles over 8 years with an automation provider to pharmacy. Prior, she spent the first 10 years of her pharmacy related career with a pharmacy wholesaler.

Scott joined the SoftWriters, Inc. team as the Chief Financial Officer at the beginning of 2016 and leads the financial and human resources functions. Prior to SoftWriters, Scott worked for AppNexus, a vibrant tech startup in New York City that competes in the advertising technology space. Previous to that role he worked for many years in large, publicly-held companies such as GE and IBM. Scott has expertise in pricing, financial reporting, capital markets, M&A, and project management. He holds a BS in Finance from Penn State, and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at NYU.
