President & Chief Executive Officer
Tim joined SoftWriters in 1994, responsible for leading the programming team. It was Tim who designed FrameworkLTC® and originally developed the software. In 2009, Tim took over as CEO and President of SoftWriters.
Tim is widely known for his expertise in this industry. He has been a member of the National Council for Prescription Drug Programs since 2000. He has also been a member of the American Society for Automation in Pharmacy since 2000 and has served ASAP as a board member and as president of the organization from 2010 - 2012. Tim holds a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from Gannon University.
Tim Tannert, R.Ph.
Vice President & Chief Operating Officer
Tim joined SoftWriters, Inc. in 2011 and as Chief Operating Officer has responsibility for the development, product management, quality assurance, implementation, training, support and customer experience departments.
Tim has had an affinity towards long-term care throughout his entire adult life, origininating while he volunteered at a skilled nursing facility in high school. As an intern in pharmacy school, he started working in a long-term care pharmacy, where his passion for LTC pharmacy really began to develop and grow. Prior to joining SoftWriters, Tim served as Vice President of Operations / Executive Director of the Omnicare Pharmacy in Columbus, Ohio and as COO of an independent LTC pharmacy that provided services throughout the state of Ohio. Tim has an obsession for improving patient care through technology to improve processes and to help ensure the best possible quality.
In the past, he has served as both the Vice President on the board of directors for the American Society of Automation in Pharmacy and as President of the Senior Care Pharmacy Alliance. Tim has also participated in Ohio State Board of Pharmacy Rules Committees, and was on several committes for the Ohio Pharmacist Association. Tim is a graduate of the R.H. Raabe College of Pharmacy at Ohio Northern University.
Chief Financial Officer
Scott joined the SoftWriters, Inc. team in 2015 to lead the financial and human resources functions. Scott brings more than a decade of finance experience to the company. He joined us from AppNexus, a vibrant product development company that competes in the advertising technology space. Prior to that he worked for many years in large, publicly-held companies such as GE and IBM.
Since joining SoftWriters, Scott has energized efforts to build the best talent across the company, to modernize the company culture, to enhance recruiting practices, and to scale the organization. He holds a BS in Finance from Penn State, and an MBA from the Stern School of Business at NYU.
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Jeff joined the SoftWriters, Inc. team as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 2017. Prior to SoftWriters, Jeff worked for NAVEX Global, the industry leader in governance, risk, and compliance software solutions. Previously he successfully applied his expertise in building sales, business development, sales operations, marketing, and strategy infrastructures for Fortune 500, medium-sized, and start-up organizations, within the technology and services sectors. He holds his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and his BA in Economics and Finance from Grove City College.
