Streamline your
pharmacy operations and maximize your profits
FrameworkLTC®
has been designed to support multiple pharmacies servicing
multiple facilities. The specifics for each pharmacy in your
organization can be entered into your system. Any dispensing pharmacy can be selected at prescription
entry time, when dispensing products to a facility. A separate
formulary, inventory, and dispensing history is maintained for
each pharmacy defined.Increase your Pharmacy's Productivity

Manage your Pharmacy Formulary
In FrameworkLTC® you will always have access to the
entire Medi-Span® Master Drug Database (MDDB), which also
includes drug images.
This database contains names and pricing for over 200,000 drug
products and supply items. Each pharmacy builds a formulary
from the master list of drugs in the Master Drug Database. You
can add products to your pharmacy's formulary or update
inventory levels using a bar code scanner, or import your
formulary from a text file.
State Medicaid formularies are also
available. The Enhanced Standardized State (ESS) Formulary:
- provides the end-user with detailed information on
items covered by individual state Medicaid
organizations.
- provides information on items that require prior
authorization or have restrictions or limitations that
affect their reimbursement.
- provides Maximum Allowable Cost, when applicable.
- includes the Copyright, Summary, ReadMe, Data
Dictionary, and Validation/Translation files.
- allows pre-adjudication of items dispensed to
individuals covered under state Medicaid programs.
Compounds and IV Dispensing
In addition to your pharmacy formulary,
FrameworkLTC allows you to maintain a library of compounds and
IV's. To define a compound, you specify an ID, a name, a
default quantity, units of measure, and cost and pricing
information; then specify each ingredient in the compound or
IV. Full support for the NCPDP v5.1 compound segment is
provided for electronic claims submission.
Optimizing your Drug Pricing
Each pharmacy can define the way that drugs are priced when
dispensed so you can get the most from your inventory
investment. Pricing can be set up for each individual payer in
the system. These definitions are made at the facility level,
but can be copied from facility to facility. FrameworkLTC enables
you to define the formula used to calculate the selling price
for a particular drug based on payer.
