SoftWriters, Inc. Forms Division Announces Line of
Laser-Printed Physician's Order/Medication Administration
Record Forms
ALLISON PARK, PA - November 9, 2005
For years, the only way to create a set of forms that included both the physicians orders and the medication administration record was to endure pin-feed forms and the reliability problems of dot matrix printers.
SoftWriters, Inc. Forms Division has solved the problem with the introduction of a
two- and three-part carbonless laser physician's order and medication administration record form This form features the
"carbon copy" capability of a standard dot matrix form. This laser form will:
-
Allow the transfer of all hand-written changes to medications to copies of the
physician order form and medication administration form;
-
Not allow the transfer of physician orders to the date segment of the medication administration record.
"We are pleased to offer a solution to the dot matrix problem" said Earl T. Hutchison, President of SoftWriters, Inc.
"We have developed a laser form that allows our customers to choose between technology rather than the functionality. It is no longer an
'either-or' proposition."
SoftWriters, Inc. Forms Division has begun taking orders for both the two- and three-page form. For more information on ordering and customizing forms and labels, please
contact our Forms Division (412) 492-9841.
