SoftWriters, Inc., the maker of FrameworkLTC, has been
recognized in the inaugural Inc. 5000 as one of the fastest
growing private companies in America September 5, 2007
SoftWriters, Inc. based in Allison Park, PA., a company
providing technology-based systems and services to the
long-term care market, was recognized by Inc.
magazine as one of the fastest growing privately owned
companies in the United States. It ranks 159th among the
fastest growing software companies in the United States and
75th in the state of Pennsylvania. "It's quite an
accomplishment to be recognized be a national magazine focused on every industry,
when we are a small part of a very small industry within
healthcare," says Earl Hutchison, President of SoftWriters.
Hutchison estimates that there are about 800 to 900
long-term care pharmacies in the country. SoftWriters, he
says, has about an 18 percent share of this market.
SoftWriters was formed in 1990. Its flagship product is
FrameworkLTC which was the first long-term care pharmacy system verified for Windows XP.
